1)    What is Asean Infonet?
ASEAN Infonet is a hosted web-based service that facilitates access to the digitised copy of the depository and manuscript collections of the National Libraries and memory institutions of ASEAN member countries. It is essentially a collective regional digital library, containing e-books on ASEAN culture and literary heritage.

2)    What are the subjects/topics available  in the Asean Infonet?
Currently, the topics covered include arts, culture, language, literature, health, history, politics and war. More topics will be covered as more ebooks are added to the collection.

3)    What are the types of collections available in the Asean Infonet?
The materials currently comprise books, articles, speeches, presentation materials, photographs & pictures.

4)    How do I search Asean Infonet?
You can search Asean Infonet by various access points - keyword, subject, name of author, organization, and year.

5)  I would like to read the ebooks offline. Is it possible?
Yes, you can download the ebooks for browsing. The Print and Edit functions however are disabled to prevent their circulation.

6)  How do I obtain photocopies of publications from the collection in the ASEAN Infonet?
You can  request for selected portions of the book (within copyright limits) to be delivered to you. Please use the Document Deliver  Service Form  available online from the ASEAN Infonet.

7) Can users add value to ASEAN Infonet?
Yes, registered users can upload their comments. Researchers can make cross-references in the comments space to build a collaborative research pathfinders.

8) How do I register?
Registration form is available online. We are pleased that this would give registered users an opportunity to enhance the value of the ASEAN Infonet.
